Chilly Weather Installation

Wall decals have an adhesive backing and a tape layer on top of them to help with installation... however, these pieces have a glue-like substance on them that holds them to the wall.

One thing we've noticed in our several years of doing this is that we get some calls for installation troubles in the winter months and we've narrowed it down to this- the glue gets less tacky in the cold. Like any glue, the warmer it is, the more pliable it will be... and if your decal is sitting on your porch in the snow waiting for you all day, chances are, when you go to install it the decal will be chilly!

We have a simple solution that will make your installation a breeze! When you take your decal out first unroll it and lay it under some books so that it lays flat and is not curling on you when you try to install it. When you are ready to install a few hours later warm up your whole decal with a hair dryer for several minutes.... and go about installing like normal. Keep that hair dryer by just in case it didn't do it the first time, but you should be good to go.

Watch our installation video here for some visual information on how to install our decals easily.

Still have problems? Well, you shouldn't, but in case you do- just call us! We not only have fun tips and tricks, but we'll happily replace any section that doesn't work for you. Our customer service girls are super sweet and a wealth of information!
